If you're in the European Economic Area, UK, or California, you have specific legal rights over your personal information. Here's how they apply to Feed the Pup.
For EU/UK Users (GDPR)
Our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (running the app you signed up for) and legitimate interest (household coordination features you've opted into). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of these you can do yourself in Settings; for anything else, contact us.
For California Users (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Right to Access
You can see most of what we hold about you directly in the app — your profile, household, dog, and activity history. If you'd like a full export, contact us and we'll provide one.
Right to Deletion
Use Delete My Account in Settings to permanently remove your profile and, if you're the last member, your household's data. This is immediate and can't be undone. If you'd rather we handle it manually, contact us instead.
Right to Correction
You can update your display name, dog profile, and household details directly in the app at any time.
Right to Portability
On request, we'll provide your data in a structured, commonly-used format (e.g. JSON or CSV).
No Sale of Data
We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we never have.
Exercising Your Rights
For any request not covered by an in-app control, reach out below. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 days for GDPR, 45 days for CCPA).
